A library with roots
Our sources are enduring Catholic reading plans and essential or great-books selections, including lasting subject guides. Seasonal reading suggestions, interview favorites and isolated endorsements do not qualify.
Catholic Reading Plan brings together recommendations from Catholic priests, scholars and writers. It is a compilation of reading lists and guides, designed to help readers discover good books and trace each recommendation to its source.
Verified recommendations have been matched to a published list. Secondary transcription evidence and catalog-only claims are labeled separately. Known derivative lists count together; counts do not establish wholly independent selection.
The library contains incomplete original-date metadata and reading notes, disclosed on individual records. New, used and library links are searches unless a specific edition is identified.
